Wavelets and Fuzzy Logic Application for Performance Parameters Diagnosis in Power Systems With the increasing penetration of renewable energy sources and distributed generation in electrical systems, analyzing energy quality, identifying disturbances and obtaining a correct diagnosis of these systems are increasingly essential. Therefore, methods based on artificial intelligence and signal processing must be developed in order to handle this huge amount of data. This paper presents two power diagnostic services of performance parameters involving PQ in Energy Systems. The first one is the Events Identification, based on a method of signal processing named Wavelet Transform. This purpose will extract the main information related to the beginning and end of a transitory, allowing its identification.
